Snowy Spring Day

We are two weeks into spring and it snowed like crazy this morning. You can't see the flakes too well in this photo but there were big, thick, heavy, wet flakes falling all over New York for a good hour or so in the late morning.

This photo was taken facing uptown (north) from the southeast corner of 58th and Broadway. It shows the Trump International Hotel and Tower in the center and the lollipop building (undergoing renovations) in scaffolding and curtain on the left. The snow melted on contact with the street and ended up sloppy, but in the sky it looked very pretty and also a bit weird. It's a bit late in the year for snow, but what can you do?

I love the weather. You can always talk about the weather. We should talk about the weather more. That's some weather out there. Oh yes. Some weather.

THAT IS SO WILD THAT IT SNOWED! WE HAD A BEAUTIFUL DAY HERE IN CAROLINA! IT WAS IN THE 70S AND SUNNY! I DIDNT EVEN HEAR YA'LL WERE GETTING BLOWIN SNOW, THAT IS NOT TO GOOD FOR YOUR WALKS AND RUNNING YOU DO. I HEARD THE WEATHER THIS YEAR IS GOIN TO BE CRAZY WITH THINGS GOING ON OUTSIDE OF THERE SEASONS. ALTHOUGH I KNOW IT IS NOT OUT OF THE NORM TO SEE IT SNOW IN APRIL, WE HAD THE BLIZZARD OF 93 IN MARCH OR APRIL. I LOVE SPRING, MY WINTER GLOOM HAS GONE OUT THE DOOR AND THE BEACH IS CALLING MY NAME!! I enjoy that the weather in NYC is so wildly unpredictable. 60 degrees one day, snow the next... The sight of snow falling on the recently bloomed apple blossoms on the trees outside the office buildings were a wonderful contrast.

Greatings from Munich, Germany. Here also the snow is falling in April and we all wait for the spring. I´ve caught a cold - it´s terrible.
